I just did a quick search and it seems like anything that has the turn signals, also has power adjust and heat.

I'm wondering how hard it'd be to convert your truck to power adjust mirrors.

I got the reverse lights wired up today. They aren't as bright as I would have liked, but in a completely dark area, they might help a little bit.

They are solid. The drivers side is like a rock. Zero vibration. The passenger side as a very slight vibration on rough roads or above 70mph. But not enough to hurt vision.

It was straight forward once I found the wires. The hardest part was getting the wires through the rubber boot on the door.

I love your early NBS, just figured I'd get that out of the way.

I have an LT, do these plug into where the OEM mirrors used to plug into? I have some low feature tow mirrors right now but these are very tempting to me.

Thank you haha. Not to brag but I get comments like that alot. I guess it's just a clean and not overly done truck. I keep it spotless (or try to) so that helps.

These particular mirrors had a plug for the power and heat that plugged right into the existing plug on my truck. No work needed for that part of it.

However, for the signals and reverse lights, I had to run one ground and two power wires (per side). So still not bad.

But I believe for the 03-07 trucks, they come with a plug for the turn signals so those are plug and play as well. So all you'd need to wire is the reverse lights.

You earn all those compliments man, the mirrors where a small touch but they look great! Thank you much for the information, looks like I'll be in the market for some new mirrors, with my extra height a reverse light from the mirror down would help me line up in parking spots, especially when the lot is wet and the lines are hard to see.

I will say that the reverse lights are not very bright. I suppose that in very dark areas it would help.

The biggest help for me is the extra glass on the bottom. I angles those down a bit to see my rear wheels. It makes parking a lot easier compared to stock mirrors where I'd have to basically jam my head up by the a pillar to see haha

I just got mine today and can't wait to put them on. Did yours come with an extra plug that you have to splice and ground yourself?

Yeah I had two plugs on mine. The black one plugged into the existing truck harness. The white one came with a 3 wire pig tail and needed to be wired.

The black is ground
The blue is turn signal
The white is the reverse lights

Just a little update. These mirrors are wired differently from the real ones, so the front amber lights work as a turn signal, instead of the real ones which are clearance/running lights.

I liked the look of them being running lights on the real ones much better than turn signals, so I decided I'm going to change that. Here's some pics.

It's a little scary taking them apart since you need to use quite a but of force and it sounds bad when it finally pops apart. But luckily nothing broke haha.

All I had to do was cut the power wire going to the amber lights and solder a new wire to it. The ground was retained from the main harness. Then I just ran the new wire through the mirror arms and into the door then hooked it into the illumination wire for the window switches. So when ever the headlights or parking lights are on, the front amber are too, just like the real deal. They also flash when I unlock it.
