Hey I have been looking to get a lift kit, I was going to get a 4.5in rough country lift with dual exhaust, but I have also looked at getting a leveling kit instead. What do you guys think?

First, it will be tough to get a white truck to be black, but it can be done with a about a couple quarts of black paint, rollers, and some small paint brushes for the fine painting. You're gonna have to change the front clip from GM to Chevy which is also easy, but pricey. Other than that, the lift kit is possible and would probably do just what you wanted it to do.

Please remember that the truck you are comparing it to is 4WD compared to your 2WD. In your year, if memory serves, the 2WDs set lower than the 4WDs as opposed to the newer body styles so your end results will not be the same.

Ok, so that part is decided.

Have you priced the 4.5" lift? That's quite a lot of dinero to spend on a 2WD that has all the characteristics of a 2WD which include, normally, one-wheel drive and the ability to get it stuck where your 4WD friends can go that you can't.

i don't have any more of the black but i can get some more of mine later today.

I'm sure you are debating getting it lifted or not. I would say just do it i spent 6 months debating and when i finally got it lifted i don't regret it one bit. i went for the pre runner style so my truck is a little bit lower in the back than the front but i love it.

It may be different on your body style from the NNBS, but if you get a level, I think you should be able to squeeze 33s ...I agree, I wouldn't lift a 2wd, but everyone has their own thing. Also, keep in mind that your brushguard is also part of the reason youre sagging...might wanna invest in some bilstein 5100s to give you a little more lift. Make sure you get it aligned after!
