Could stand to lose the steps and mud flaps. Not the biggest fan of the wheels either but not terrible

 

I like the stance, but not the huge diameter wheels. It must ride terribly due to virtually no sidewalls.

I'd personally prefer to have a crew cab in that setup, and I'd debadge it and also remove mud flaps and steps.

Usually I can't either, but I like it cause it's tastefully done. Besides the flaps and side steps, it's simple yet appealing.

Not that I'd ever have something like that, but for what it's meant to be, I guess it's not bad. And yeah, like Gary said, the ride must be pretty terrible, but that's what you get when you do something like that. It's all about compromises.

And yeah, steps and mud flaps need to go. 🤦‍♂️

Wheels are too large of diameter and why do you need side steps when that low. My truck was lowered 2/4 and I took the side steps off because it felt awkward using them to get in. Plus they were in the way getting out.

 

So my friend/neighbors lowrider chevy.

It's not a low rider. It's a lowered truck. If it had the wire wheels on it and some curb feelers now we'd be gettgin into low rider territory.

bumps and stuff with low profile tires are always a harsh ride. It's inevitable. But a quality drop kit or custom suspension, it should ride and drive like a corvette. Stiff, but fully in control..definitely no cadi ride smoothness..

I look at it as the 90s/2000s sport truck stuff. I have always loved the look.
Now many of these trucks look good lowered and lifted. It's just personal opinions.


Mine are 24 inch wheels. They fit the huge fender wells.
Your neighbors might have even bigger.

I can tow, and do nearly all the stuff a normal 'stock' truck can do.
To me, nearly every vehicle looks better lowered.
Some body styles dont look good lowered, and need a nice lift.

Nearly every vehicle i have owned has been slammed to the ground since around 1989..
Currently in the planning stages of dropping my 1963 scout. Taking the body off the lifted on 40 inch tires chassis and slamming it onto a pro-touring style chassis that will be about 4 inches off the ground.

That looks rad as hell. I don't like driving big wheels and small tires but I do think they look awesome.

I did a 2/2 drop on mine. Once I find a shop that likes lowered trucks I'm going to get it bagged so I can lay frame.

Not bad. Lose the step bars and Z71 stickers and it would look alot better.

 

I'm from the time in the barrio way back, that the only thing nice lowered was a '63 Impala...

 

early-mid 60s Impalas are hideous.

 

Looks like a total waste of a perfectly good truck. Never been a fan of people taking a truck and lowering or jacking them up. But hell I worked hard for the money I spent to buy my truck. The rest of my hard earned money went to the expenses to support my family.

I agree,, it seems as though ship has sailed. Its just not practical! Why buy a truck just to make it unusable? You gotta change your whole route plan to avoid speed bumps and driveway entrances!
