I have a lump in the foam under the cloth on my driver side seat. It's probably from sliding in and out of truck. Anyway to smooth it out with heat or something?

That's what I'm afraid of . Although, if I did try and take cover off, I might be able to repair the foam some how. Sounds like a project that might be over my head.
I think the seat covers come off pretty easy once the seat is out of the truck. I think they are only connected by a couple of hog rings. Once the cover is off the cushion should come out pretty easy.
For anyone else with this problem. I solved it. I dampended seat a bit, not sure if that helped, then took a blow dryer to it. After repeated heat and masaging the lump in the foam I got it out. I thought about using an iron with steam too but didn't need it.
