NNBS GMT900 is 2007.5-2013
Square body 1973-1987
GMT400 1988-1997
GMT800 NBS 1999-2007
K2xx is 2014-2018 plus 2019 LD
T1xx is 2019 New body-2021

I think these acronyms are starting to go away with more people referring to the trucks by their proper designation. When the k2xx came out nnnbs seemed a bit much. We would be on nnnnbs with the t1xx.

 

there are only two generations of chevy trucks:

(1) 1967-1972.
(2) Everything else.

 

Yep, there are outliers in every generation GM truck, especially with 2500's.

Then, as a 2007.5 NNBS GMT-900 owner, which is the new Classic GMC Truck, I can STILL shop for parts for a 2008 NNBS Classic but not a 2006 NBS Classic Classic.
