I have an Eibach 1.7/2.4 drop kit (springs on front shackles on rear)
I am having trouble finding shocks that compensate for drop kits
and I would like some that are better than OEM
I haven't had it installed yet because it only makes since to at least replace everything that is being taken apart and I can do the rears my self
if anyone has solved this problem already and knows the part number or at least the company to call please tell me
thanks guys

From what I have read about lowering our trucks, you do not need to replace the front shocks with only an 2" drop. The OEM ones will still work. I believe the OEM ones will work for the rear also with your drop. Anything over 3" would require new shocks. Just my 2 cents.

Ok guys went ahead and bought the Bilstein 5100 Series Adjustable
They adjust 0 to +1.75, I would have gone with the Belltechs but I already have the drop springs for the front and the Bilstein's have a little over 1" more collapse than the Belltechs struts that actually lower the suspension 2"
I paid extra to have them delivered by 2nd day air but after I completed the order it said next Tuesday, A$$holes.
Hope to have them put on along with springs and shackles Saturday, thanks for everyones help, I just needed to dig deeper on the actual specification (i.e. collapsed length and extended length) as well as wanting the monotube design from Bilstein and then finding out that the OEM shock travel is good for almost +/- 3" so my 1.7" drop springs shouldn't have too much affect on the new shocks.
I'm replacing them because I have to take them off to put drop springs on anyway, and at 37000 miles its time for new ones
Thanks again for everyones input.
