Got to start a shop build thread to track the progress of my new shop. It's going to be a 40x60 with 16' sidewalls and 15x60 lean to. Can't wait!
Here are some renderings of the building.

Looks awesome. Tall enough to put a hydraulic lift in there ? That would be the ultimate.
Man yeah, gonna have 16' tall side walls. I plan on getting a 10k lb Atlas 2 post extra wide extra tall lift when budget allows.

I hate you. and I mean that with all the love in the world. lol. Any reason for the lean-to and not just a bigger garage? I know a slab is spendy though.

Be sure to set some body straightening hooks into that slab at strategic points.

Pieces of big re-bar, heavy angle, something of substance...

Costs nothing now, priceless when your new bodyshop friend can straighten a car with chains and a come-a-long!

I'm going to put my grille under it on the end by the doors and my boat under it towards the front. It'll have concrete under the lean to also.

Picked up a new to me toolbox off Facebook to go in it when she's done. I think it'll be just the right size. No where near as big as the box I use daily at work but it's nice size. One thing about it I won't loose it!!

I figured you had a good reason! Nicely done.

That's the way to work 'em, past dark.
This is going to be a great shop.

We've not seen your floor plan yet. You need to post it up so that we can verify proper placement of the beer fridge, in co-ordinance with building code 53.5739.2
Which specifies, in part, that the beer fridge must be within one good push of a creeper or rolling work stool from the main work area.

Hopefully they get it done in the morning. It's 9:47 and they are still out there working lol. Giving rain tomorrow around 12.

Yes I will post up a floor plan soon and trust me, no one will go thirsty while at my shop lol. I will have a refrigerator in the kitchen area and I have a coke machine with 4 12oz can slots and 2 16oz can slots do a ice cold beer will be available at a push of a button!

Nice.
You've got plenty of counter space for a small convection oven for making nacho's, pizza, etc.
I actually already have my countertops. Was in a local building supply store the other day and they had all their countertops 1/2 off! Found two 6' and a 10' all matching for just under $100! I'll have a full size stove in there with the refrigerator. Pizzas here are cooked on my big green egg though, there awesome lol.

What's the budget on something like that? Are you hosting the SilveradoSierra.com Convention 2019??
45k-50k is what we're expecting to have in it. Lol idk about any conventions but we will be firing up the grille and drinking cold beer regularly!!
