looks like transmission and oil cooler block off plate. 2 separate leaks

 

Yeah my research lead me to oil cooler blockoff plate. But I removed the inspection cover and it's all dry in there

 

Anybody happen to have felpro part number for the gasket?

 

To me it almost looks like it's higher up, see the drip to the right side??

 

i couldnt find any wet spots above that plate. Not saying it isnt but ill have to look again tonight

 

I'm having the same leak area on my truck as well 2010 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3. I think it is the oil cooler. 72435 if it is just one big hole in the gasket minus bolt holes, or if there is 2 holes about the size of the lines minus bolt holes the part number is 72462. I've talked to a couple ppl that said when changing that caller you'll lose very little oil but still have a drip pan to catch it. But my last oil change I noticed I had only 3 qts oil when changing it none spilled on the ground and got the oil from the filter as well. I know I'm not burning oil cause I don't smell any burning or see blue smoke. So I guess it's leaking as I'm driving down the highway cause I don't notice a big oil leak where I park my truck on my gravel driveway.

 

yeah i changed mine out a week or so ago. I have been checking on it periodically. i believe i fixed one part of it lol

 

I'm having the same issue I alrdy replaced the trans cooler line gasket..
Bought at the dealer...
And it's still has a leak...

Where is that part located that you mentioned
