Output shaft seized in tc

I have an 05 silverado 2500 and the output shaft from the transfer case is seized. Any recommendations on how to remove it?

This is a project truck for my son and once we can figure this part out, on to the suspension!

Thank you in advance

Oops, re-read that it's for the front driveshaft, so it's slightly different.

Start off w disconnecting the driveshaft from the front diff. You should mark the driveshaft, yoke on the diff, and the two straps, so everything can be assembled the same way it was.

You pry open the clamp holding the rubber boot to the TC front output shaft (or cut the zip tie or whatever if someone worked on it before), pull the boot off the output shaft lip (might need to use something like a screwdriver to pry it off), then the driveshaft should just slide out.

The yoke just splines, that go into a splined hole in the TC's output shaft. There's nothing else in the hole, and TC fluid won't come out.

Dirt or rust might have gotten in there if the boot was damaged or not secured very well, or the splines weren't lubed if it was reassembled, so again, the ratchet strap on the yoke to pull straight out should get the job done.

Clean both the TC shaft and the end of the driveshaft, lube the driveshaft, and then slide it in/out a few times to make sure it goes in and slides easily, when you reassemble it.
The book wasn't tied on, I think there is a bunch dirt in there possibly rust. I'll try a strap. It's showing about an inch of the splines because the driveshaft wasn't in when my son bought the truck. So I think it's been a while since it's been serviced to say the least.
