ProTuningLab Headlights - Junk

So, I purchased a set up Halo Projector headlights with the HID conversion kits from protuninglab.com in October 2014. Which i should have known from the start that the kit was too cheap to be high quality. But I figured why not try it out.

My drivers side headlight flickered light crazy for months. I replaced the ballast thinking it was that, which it wasn't. About 2 months ago that bulb burned out. So I ordered a replacement bulb. Which doesn't fit the assembly that I have. I was able to rig it up to fit and work. No more flickering now. However, now one of my halos is out and there is no fixing it. Plus the lights assemblies get moisture in them which I assumed would happen and is probably why the Halo is out.

Either way I learned from my mistake. Don't be cheap! lol. Going to eventually order a new set up lights from a quality source that provides a quality product.

Any recommendations? Here is a pic of the current set up. I like the blacked out look of the headlights and projectors for the HID's.

If you want the best quality of housings and projectors you'll want to retrofit for sure.

99% of the premade housings are junk.

Retrofitting will cost a little more depending on what parts you use, but you have the confidence that you have good parts and the best performance.

Well that sucks. I was hoping to not have to retrofit...as I have no clue what i'm doing when it comes to electrical or retrofitting. Plus I don't like the stock lights...I'll have to figure something out. The blown halo is driving me nuts.

The retrofit source sells retrofit kits for thos headlights.

Pro tuning lab and spyders headlighrlts are the same thing I think. Retrofit source has nothing but awesome reviews.

You could also retrofit your stock lights and paint the chrome black, that's really all the pro tuners are...
