I've spent the last week searching and searching for anyone who has done a Quadrasteer to straight axle swap on a 1500... My quadrasteer isn't working how it should and parts are hard to come by and expensive... I'd like to just drop in a whole rear axle and be done with it but no luck finding out if there was any issues that arise from it..

Know anyone that has done it? Done it yourself? Remember an old thread that has it done?

I'll take any info on it I can.

Try these links! These are about the only ones I think on here that relate to what you are trying to do. The second one is not exactly a quadrasteer thread but it's got like 30 pages and some of them are quadrasteer stuff. They might be a start for your research:
Quadrasteer conversion

Solid axle swap

Quadrasteer

Good luck,

I unfortunately have read those 3 and didn't find anything very concrete. May just have to try it and make a write up along the way.

Try googling this:
"quadrasteer axle swap"
I just did it and saw many webpages with information and even saw one that states that people have successfully swapped with a standard axle.
If you get around to doing it, please post the progress here. It would be interesting to see that and I'm sure it would help other quadrasteer owners that have the same dilemma.
