I just bought a 2003 silverado and it says Regency Sport Truck on the head rests and Regency on the chrome exhaust tips. What is it? anything else to look for to see if its special?

Regency closed up shop in January of '09
They were one of, if not the biggest "up fitter" for years.
This may end up being a collectors piece.
Check for a Regency sticker on the jamb of the drivers side door.
Regency was an authorized GM up fitter for many many years.
It your truck doesn't have all of the goodies then maybe the previous owner found these parts are "upgraded replacement parts" for the stock components just to make it a little more personal for him/her.
Even still drilled and slotted rotors then were considerably more than standard rotors... so if the originals needed replacing more than likely the owner would have went a cheaper route... but I've been known to be wrong before
I would check the drivers door jamb to see if there is a Regency sticker there.
Did you check to see if it had headers?
You've got the interior, wheels and exhaust tips for sure.....seems like a lot to make a fake.
anyway what ever it is, I am making it into a work truck to haul my carpet cleaning trailer, like using a Thoroughbred as a plow horse. but every trip will be fun
