Well i took the dive after 2 yrs of looking, viewing, and driving. I was scrolling through marketplace one night and seen the thumbnail of the "Blue Sierra", i said while turning the screen toward my wife "oh look another truck", she sarcastically said well your not going to buy it anyways. So i started looking at the pictures they posted and it was the package truck i had been looking for like all the rest ive looked at. Didnt care about the lift and tires but i looked at it as money in the bank if i didnt really like them. Heres a pic of what the add showed.

So i told myself to just sleep on it and we will see tomorrow. After the night i told myself to atleast go look at it and see what it really looked like. Its got some scars and has had a little work done but its nothing too major. After some negotiations and talks with the wife it was coming home with me. Had some friends come and pickup my other truck and we rolled home. I rolled the new one straight into the shop to get that RanchHand grille guard off, i couldnt make myself like it. So at this point ive got 4 trucks in the driveway and had to make the decision to let my ext cab id been driving everyday go which was hard to do.
Well in the next week or two i went ahead and swapped a few bulbs with led and pulled the badging.
Now it was time to get my music right and for the first time i decided to just purchase a box, since i had laid eyes on one that i had to have. So i made the call and placed the order and the wait was on. During this time i went ahead and started ordering all the supporting devices to get this installed and running
We have a JL 750/1, LC2i, KnuKonceptz wiring, and my previous subs Sundown E8V5's.
Finally after about a month the box came in and it was time to get it finished up. It didnt take long to get it running but i took about 2 weeks to get myself to power up the box lighting and i could kick myself for not doing so sooner.
Next was the drivers assist handle, I really couldnt understand why they didnt come installed and were only an option, but i wanted it so climbing up in this thing wasnt wearing on the steering wheel.
Now ive always modded for performance and this one will not fall short of that either. Ive always said if i got another truck it would be Procharged, and it will get it eventually but for now its going to just get the basics. I figured while its not going to hurt anything id go ahead and get a CAI for now and i could sell it later to recoup a little money, so i ordered up a Volant for a 6.2 since im going with the L86 manifold and tb later. Looks ok, cleans up the engine bay A LOT, and makes a little more noise.
Ive also got a thing for lighting, so i had to add some footwell lighting up front bc i really like its purpose. Built a harness and installed some phillips leds.
Now with hunting season coming on, the next round of mods will likely wait til spring but they will come pretty fast at that point. Did i mention i like lighting? Well im going to retrofit the headlights with DD drls, and G5 projectors, likely will do a little color matching not overdoing it. And it will get some DD SS3 fogs. After that ill get the L86 mani swap parts and headers, i already have a speed engineering y pipe to use.
Also im planning to swap the lift since im wanting to go up to 37's and ill swap to the Superlift 8" king kit and mod it a little to run at 10".
Other than that this is it as of current and the plans ahead.

Man...what I would do with a stand alone huge shop like that! Great looking Sierra. The stereo box with the lighting is really neat. Glad you shared your work.

The shop is the best addition ive made around here!!! Steady putting time and money into it and tooling but i came from having a shop to work in to nothing, so i needed one to get all my tools home.
