RetroFit Car Seat Latch Anchors

Hey all !! Thanks for checking this out.

I was using the seatbelt to hold the car seat in place and it worked well, until it didn't anymore.
The seatbelt stopped locking. Now I need to be able to use my truck to transport my kids and
only have one spot available with two kids. I have been looking for a way to install anchors that
2001 and after have. Talked to Chevy and they don't have anything to retrofit. At least the online
chat with their Pre-Sales people indicated they didn't have anything. A quick search online shows
weird things that look like it just latches to the carseat with the latch system but doesn't anchor
anywhere. Need some help. Youtube and the Internet are coming up pretty short in this region.

Could you just buy a few of these, and attach them where the rear seat(s) bolt to the floor?

Sorry they're Mopar, but I just purchased several of these for additional cargo tie-downs in a van I use for business....

I have considered something like that but wasn't sure if it would hold up to a wreck if something happened.

Can you get a new (or used?) seat belt to replace the one that no longer locks? eBay? Junk yard?

I hadn't thought about that. It needs to be replaced anyway.

While you're there, just grab the latch brackets from a 2001-2006 too.
