While you can fit a 33" tire and the shop is incorrect, you cannot fit a 33x12.5 without modification or more lift.

That is subject to your wheel offset and anything else you may have modified though

 

This truck has 2.5in leveling and 33x12.5s and 0mm offset wheel and it rubbed at full lock on the inner fender liner. To get 33s to stick out 1in with a 2.25in level you will have to trim and do the norcal mod.

Here is my truck with 2.5in of lift and -12 in wheels with 295/55/20s, so almost a 33 and not as wide.

275 tells us nothing unless you give the aspect ratio and wheel size

On stock wheels, 33x12.50 would fit without rubbing the fender...but it would rub the sway bar at full lock. 285 is about as wide as you can go on stock wheels to avoid rubbing the sway bar.

So with a 20" wheel you would be able to fit a 285/60R20 (33.4"), and a 275/65R20 (34.07").

18" wheel you'd fit a 285/65R18 (32.6") with absolutely no issues. Might be able to squeeze a 285/70R18 (33.7")

17" wheel you'll easily fit a 285/70R17, might be able to squeeze a 285/75R17 in there, but no guarantees.

 

I am leveled 2" and I have 33x11.5 (285/65r18) and they are on 18x9 0 offset wheels. They do not rub at all. But they come close. If I were to go full lock on an angle they would rub.

They stick out a little bit. Not quite an inch though.

I'm running 33/12.50/20r's with 20x9 +1 offset and a 2" level. They stick out just about an inch. I did the NorCal mod and zip tied the front liner forward. Without those mods it rubbed front and back of the fenderwell. I believe the newer trucks have a little bit more room....but just barely.

 

I see what you guys mean.... so since I have the 2 1/4 leveling kit fro teddy lift.... what's the biggest size I can put on the truck if I want to go with 20" rims?

I'm assuming tire will most likely be a 20 x 275 x ?
Just not sure on the rim size? Shop is saying 9 wide

 

I have 285/70/18 Cooper SST MAXX tires on stock rims with a 2.5" Ready Lift. 2014 LT with no rubbing.

 

Greatly depends on the offset and width of the wheel you want
