2.5 inch level kit, mbrp single side exhaust, K&N untake, 305/65/18 bfg all terrains. 1200 watt amp n sub(kenwood) n black light interior lights under the dash. also took a bed cover i got for 50$ cut it down n re sewed it to fit up against my tool box!
Do you ever have any issues with the tire size? any alterations to fit them other than the level kit? Is there good room for suspention travel?

I am in with the silver... it wasn't my choice of colors... but I have it nonetheless. Sorry my only mods so far are a hidden hitch gooseneck.... and timbrens all the way around. The truck is used hard and put up wet on a regular basis... actually just did 600 miles around trip towing the rig last weekend.

If you haven't entered your truck into the poll, it is here: What color is your Truck?

We can't let black catch up with us!

I just purchased a 2013 Sierra (Quicksliver color), It has stock 17" cast aluminum rims. I am looking for step bars to put on this truck as my wife is on the shorter end of the spectrum. I am unsure if chrome is the way to go, Im leaning towards black or a brushed aluminum look. Aluminum bars that aren't chrome coated seem to be hard to come by, any ideas on what finish will look the best with the Quickslilver color and the cast aluminum rims. Pictures or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone! Here is my 2011 Sierra... Silver Birch Metallic I think they call it?

Truxedo TruxPort Tonneau -- $400 -- LOVE IT.
Luverne Chrome Step Bars -- $375 -- standard chrome step bars, they clean up nice & the black step pads are warrantied for life.
Molded Mud Flaps -- $100 -- 2 removed to make room for tires, 1ripped off this winter
Black & Pink Pinstriping -- $275 -- chipping & peeling, not impressed, he will be back out to fix it this summer
17" Dick Cepek Rims -- $680 -- Love them!
Falken Wild Peak A/T -- $850 -- too soon to tell, only got 200 miles on them
3.5" Rough Country Suspension Lift -- $495 -- I like the look, I don't like that the rear still sits lower, I'm working on fixing that

What's Left:
Blocks or something to lift rear up 1" or so
Silver side mirrors & door handles
Window tint
Paint GMC Emblem pink
Sierra Miss window sticker
Custom Z71 decals
Exhaust of some sort

Let me know what you all think!

Yeah I'm looking into fixing the squatty look, waiting on Rough Country to get back to me on their suggestions. Gotta talk to my installer as well. I considered a debadge, but like you said, then the pinstriping on the door is just floating lol.

Here's mine that I bought a couple of weeks ago. Only picture that I have for now. 2011 z71, sheer silver met. vent shades, bedliner, bed rail caps, fender liners, mud flaps, bowtie removed from gate, contemplating painting front bowtie...thinking body color with the black surrounding. Getting tonneau cover hopefully this weekend and leveling kit is on its way! I'll post more pics when I get it put on

Howdy.... got my truck about two weeks ago... I think it goes without saying that I love it.

When I bought it it had the leveling kit installed, might be a 2.5"??? Not really sure on that one. Rancho shocks, otherwise stock.

It had chrome 20" special order wheels on it... all fine and dandy except: #1 I hate chrome, #2 who the hell puts low-pro tires on a lifted 4x4???
Got the wheels and tires on there now off an '06 for $400.

Only other thing I've done is paint the grill inserts... about $10 in paint and a couple hours of work.

Pinstripes are coming soon!

...Still debating on whether or not to get a winch bumper.

Here's my '06 LT 4x4.

Bought it about a year ago and have put on 40K. I use it for work and do a lot of hauling - it does a great job!
It was a pretty low mileage truck when I got it, and it will still be respectable when I sell it in a few years. One of my favorite body styles with the split grille and tall hood.

Haven't done much to it:
-new Curt hitch receiver
-TSC low profile toolbox - $215 out the door
-K&N replacement air filter (good MPG increase under heavy loads)
-black bowtie (removed, acetone to remove the gold on the inside, painted from the inside)
-Had all new brake lines done before I bought it
-I completely scraped, sanded, wire brushed the frame and coated hand painted it with 2 coats of flat black Armor Coat enamel. That was a messy job!

Currently has a set of Michelin LTX's. Great tires, but they'll be history after the end of the summer. Next set will probably be some 265/70R/17 BF Goodrich AT's.

I have a little bit of surface rust on the rockers behind the rear wheels. Next job is to sand, prep, and prime it, then take it to my painter buddy for some color matched gravel guard.

After a wash, wax, and detail when I was in FL last month:
