SOLUTION EDIT: I unplugged the float sensor and the light turned off. Watched this video and ultimately this is what fixed the issue. Original sensor is plugged in and working!

ORIGINAL POST: I flushed my fluid a couple weeks ago, mid flush as I was pumping brakes the SBS light turned on. I initially ignored it thinking that since valve is open of course the light is gonna turn on.
Well it’s been weeks and light is still on along with the E brake light.
So far what I tried is cleaning grounds under cab, cycling the ABS pump with scanner, unplugging battery over night, replaced a stuck rear drum cylinder and re flushed brakes.
Anything else I’m missing? I’m out of ideas.

Note: ABS light is not on. Brakes and ABS function as intended.

AS Per FSM
Hydraulic brake pressure balance control system regulates brake fluid pressure delivered to the wheel brake circuits , in order to control the distribution of force
Pressure balance control is through dynamic rear proportioning (DRP), which is a function of the ABS modulator

Just a quote from the FSM
I was gonna copy and paste but it wont let me

Keep in mind it did not mention the rpo brake option so.....:oops:

Actually, the problem is we don't know what truck the o.p. has, so it may or may not have a proportioning valve. the abs bleeding procedure also varies with what truck it is.
@RealSlimBaby , update your accounts signature to include the year/make/model/engine/trim level of your truck, so we can better help you.

Haynes is the jiffy lube of auto repair manuals.

The other things, given your original work being flushing the brakes, is that
a) you flushed some debris into the brake system, causing some problem
b) the MC ran dry, and there's still air in the system somewhere, causing the problem

Proportioning valve is built into the abs module, and as far as I know, is not adjustable, perhaps short of disassembling and dremelling...

If the light is on, perhaps use a code reader that can get abs codes and scan it?

Back in the day, when I was doing this stuff all the time, we would occasionally (but rarely) run into this issue. It seemed to be caused by the proportioning valve. Go to this page How to Repair a Brake Warning Light Problem and the guy explains the valve and how to reset it (Step 4).

If his method doesn't work, try this one. It's been a loooong time since I messed with this exact issue, but I think we used to bleed a front wheel, then test it, then a back wheel, then test it.... this would get the sensor back to the center eventually.

Here's a pic of the system for '04 Silverado (not sure exactly what you have):
