I have a 2012 4X4 crew LTZ with 6.2. I keep getting the "service stabilitrak/service traction control" dash warning lights. It only happens late in the day when its hot. Never in the morning when I go to work. There are no codes that go along with this, I have a code reader and it thinks everything is alright. I have read many posts on this, has anybody figured this out yet?
Thanks!
Ed

It may also be the steering wheel position sensor as there is a tsb on it regarding corrosion on the connector. I am currently dealing with the same thing and it is tripped as soon as I turn my wheel, but only in the heat of the day as you are experiencing.

OK, the range device is a stand alone device that plugs into the obd2 port that disables the AFM. It has been know to cause the ST/TC messages to appear if it is left plugged in for extended periods of time without removing it once on a while. But that isn't an issue for you with your tuner.

Update***
Yesterday at 4pm, 96F, Started truck, pressed brakes: nothing, revved engine: nothing, Turned steering wheel about 15 degrees left: Stabilitrak/TC lights came on.
Looking like steering wheel position sensor. I read an old service update from GM that said they were having problems with the wire harness for this sensor, will look into that too.

I am having the same problem. I have a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 4.8L, been having this problem for about a week now. Doesn't happen every single time I drive, about 75% of the time. I will start driving with no alerts, and about 5-10 miles into the drive the Stabilitrak turns off and the Traction Control turns off and the brake light comes on. After a few minutes the brake light shuts off, but will come back on periodically, which disables the cruise control when it's on.

No check engine light, so no codes come up on a computer diagnostic.

Anyone else experience this and know the fix? I read several reviews of people suggesting to replace the Brake Light Switch, which I did, and that did not fix the problem. Any advise or suggestions on how to fix it would be much appreciated.
