It will set a code if all the o2 sensors are not used. You can get a tuner to fix this though.

 

But will it make my truck run like crap or no cuz I was told I couldn't run the truck with the o2s from the cat back

 

My truck is a02 Chevy Silverado 1500hd if that will make a difference

 

thus the need for the tuner. but please dont run straights. Nothing sounds worse than a stock engine with straight pipes.

I agree, straight pipes sound terrible. I'd get some good flowing mufflers.

 

throw a cam in there and it wont sound bad. But you will still need it tuned for the exhaust/headers.

 

Don't have money for a cam and how much is the tune

 

depends on who does it. a custom tune usually runs around $500. You might be able to find a local one cheaper

 

Would I be able to just run full straight pipes if I drill a hole in the pipes to put the O2 sensors in

You will still get a check engine light.
