Hope everyone is doing well. I've got 2019 Silverado 1500 RST double cab 5.3l with 8l90 transmision. I'm trying to get some info as to the required temperature needed for TFT to reach before pulling out the fluid check line for future transmission fluid changes with the aftermarket PPE THERMAL BYPASS FLUID VALVE. Do I need to follow the same procedure recommendation which I have it reach 195 degrees then let it cool down till it gets to the 95 - 113 range before checking the transmission fluid fill line or some different TFT. I Ask because with the PPE INSTALL I've yet reached that 195 degree mark. Thanks in advance

Since your thermostat is bypassed, which means it is open all the time, it's not actually a thermostat anymore and it's allowing the fluid to circulate instantly to the cooler. So then in your case just get the fluid up to the range to remove the check bolt and let it drip slowly while running and levelled when it's in that temp range.
Make sure you get the blue label mobil1 for that 8 speed.
