I'm having some kind of electrical problem. The last two days in a row has died on me while driving down the road, I've taken my alternator out and had it tested and it tested good, took the battery out And had it tested and something, it came back good, all my fuses and relays are good! Does anyone have any suggestions on where else I can locate the problem?

I got to work the other day and when I was headed home from work I went out and started my truck turned my lights on and pulled out of my parking spot, I made it about 50ft, I was going about 15mph and poof engine died and the electrical system died I had no light or radio. I had my boss try and pump it off and nothing. I got a ride home from him that night and back to work in the morning. When I got off I took my alternator out to go get tested along with the battery and both checked out good, I reinstalled everything and started look in at all my fuses and nothing was blown. I thought well damn I might as well try to start it. Poof it started right up. I drove it home and I sat for maybe 8 hrs and I tried to take it to work, same thing happened. I got in it, started it up turned my lights on and made it about 20 ft down my drive way and the engine and all electrical cut out!

ignition switch , Pickup coil in the distributer. Bad cell in the battery. corroded battery cables. Borrow a battery from a friend and see if that fixes it first.
Does all the power go out to everything? or does the engine just shut off , Does it start back up after a minute ?
Battery terminals are tight and not corroded, fuses are all good, battery tested good alternator tested good. It losses all power to everything, no accessories or anything, I haven't really had time to play around with it to see how long it takes for the power. The other day I let it sit for 24hrs took the alternator and battery out (to have them tested) reinstalled them and it cranked right up and I drove it home!

Definitely a connection issue. Something is loose...not sure what but it should be obvious. Could even be near main fuse box.

See if it will start again. Do the wiggle check while running to see if you can induce the engine/elec power loss.
1) run your power cable (red wire) and check connections
2) check all ground wires wiggle to test connection
Will do I should have Sunday off from work so I'll have a little time to play around with it, I'll hit you back and let you know what's going on
