Waterproofing Tonneau Cover

Hey guys,

I have an old tired Tonneau roll up cover that needs some love. It is letting water in through the fabric and through some tiny holes. I am wondering if anybody has ever used Flexseal or a rubber undercoating to fix it up with any success. Couldn't find much searching. Mostly just sealing the cracks around the cover where water was getting in, not the cover itself. Any experience or advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

I doubt there is anything you can do to fix it at this point. Are you sure it is leaking through the cover itself or is it coming in around the rails and seals? If not, then it sounds like you need a new cover. If you liked the one on there now, then consider just replace the cover itself.

The edges are sealed up very well. It is not coming in from there. If we get heavy rain and the water sits and pools on the cover it will seep through. I can open up the tailgate and the bottom of the cover is damp. Ill try the waterproofing and see how well it works, if it doesn't do much I guess I'm buying a new cover.
