It would be interesting to see if a thin coat of flex seal or plastidip on the under side of it would do anything, or if it would hold up to being folded or rolled up.

 

I was told RTV sealant would work for small holes.

Vinyl I believe.

 

I doubt there is anything you can do to fix it at this point. Are you sure it is leaking through the cover itself or is it coming in around the rails and seals? If not, then it sounds like you need a new cover. If you liked the one on there now, then consider just replace the cover itself.

 

Just buy a new one. They have a life span on them.

Depend on if you have actual holes or if it is just seeping though. There are other similar products that you can look for and cost will vary.

 

It has a few small hole which could be pretty easily repaired. My biggest concern is with the water getting between the material fibers and seeping through. Ill check the autoparts store and see if they anything similar to the product you recommended. Thanks!

 

The edges are sealed up very well. It is not coming in from there. If we get heavy rain and the water sits and pools on the cover it will seep through. I can open up the tailgate and the bottom of the cover is damp. Ill try the waterproofing and see how well it works, if it doesn't do much I guess I'm buying a new cover.

 

I owned a tent rental company a few years ago and when we had pinholes in the tents we would get a repair kit to fix them. Worked great.
