I got rid of mine for the opposite problem - they were very slippery, especially with snowy boots.

 

It is an odd sort of feeling plastic, almost like the fuzzy buttons on the TV remote. I am a little disappointed with the last set I bought in 2009 as they have warped a bit. They have a lifetime warranty, so perhaps I'll send them back. I went with the Husky Floor Liners this time around. Less expensive and still provide good coverage. They have a smooth texture and clean up easier too. The WeatherTech took several washes and a wipe down with foam glass cleaner to bring them back from last winter.

 

WeatherTech is going to replace them. Not sure if they were not baked long enough or what.

 

I was going to suggest to call them. Their customer service is top notch.

 

Weathertech's are the best!
Everyone else is just Weathertech wanna be's.

 

Got my replacement mats today. These feel just like my original ones, sorta sticky. My back mat does not feel the same way. Oh well, guess I have 2 sets of sticky mats now.

 

Call them back and explain your displeasure. Let them know this is the second set with same outcome see what options can be done next.

 

Sell the other set on eBay.
