What brake rotors do you guys like?

For my front brakes I'm going to replace my rotors the next time I need new pads. I'd normally just buy AC Delco but given thire weight the shipping from rock auto to canada is the same price as the rotors. The 2 non Delco brands I'm looking at are power stop and raybestos. I've read that raybestos are very similar to ac Delco and some older posts on this site talk positively about power stop. I just don't want to run junk that will warp or be unsafe. I use quality semi metallic pads opposed to ceramic if that matters.
Thanks everyone.

Just curious, have you checked the dealer? They are still legally required to carry the parts. Those rotors were on 2005-2019, so they would probably have them in stock.

As long as you are changing out the rotors, there is also a factory parts 2020+ 4 piston caliper upgrade. They don't fit with every wheel, but the parts bolt right in, and seem to be pretty reasonable if you can find them. As long as you are paying high shipping costs, I would see what the dealer charges. At least for your rotors and the entire kit if you are using blank rotors. I would guess the pads are pretty high.

Thanks I can find plenty of power stop rotors for sale on canada sites. They have basic coated ones and drilled and slotted ones for a little more. I might still stick with my Delco semi metallic break pads though.

Not a fan of the dealer in my area but I may have just caught them on a bad day last time.

The GM OE, not ACDelco Gold or Professional, lasts a long time and is the top of the line as far as quality goes. Same goes for the pads. ACDelco does make an upgrade kit for towing:

We've used PowerStop on our little cars, pads and rotors lasted about 3 years on the Kia.

I'd stick with AC Delco.

Power stop all the way for rotors and pads.

Wasn't a huge believer in them until I installed them, now it is all I'll use on my vehicles when it's time.

Installed the full kit minus calipers on my fathers 2018 and the difference in brake performance in outstanding. Night and day better and smoother stopping power over the OEM setup. Got the Z36 kit for him since he is heavy on the brakes and they are very, very low dust and stop like a dream. He generally only gets around 40k max out of a set of brakes so we'll see how long they last.

I tend to go a lot longer on brakes but once the set on my 2015 wears down ill also be getting the full Z36 kit as well.

I'm getting so much advice on the topic I'll give more info. I changed the pads the other day and the rotors have some wear grooves on them. I got 45000 km out of the last set of pads and the rotors have 140,000 km on them so far.
I do pull a 5000 pound travel trailer in the summer (under 2000km total).

My plan is to buy new calipers rotors and pads. I'll save the old calipers to rebuild I just don't want the down time.

I've always thought the semi metallic pads grab better then ceramic but maybe I should be asking what type of pads to use in my situation.

I've read all the replies and am not discounting the oe parts, will probably go that route if I'm disappointed with the aftermarket.

Okay I'll give the carbon ceramic a try. Most of the negative information about ceramic pads on trucks is about 10 years old and may not be relevant. I've never had an interest in the drilled and slotted rotors, would it be more important to use them with ceramic pads to get rid of the extra heat they create?

I'm not asking because of price, it just sounds strange to put that stuff on a truck that does truck stuff.
