WHERE is the fuse)s) for the O2 sensor(s)?

I can't find any fuse(s) for the oxygen sensor(s) on my 2001 5.3 Silverado. I checked all the fuses installed in both fuse panels for continuity, even though none are labeled for the O2 sensor circuits... specifically the heater circuits. One thing I'll point out is that my truck was built in Canada, making some parts of the O2 circuits different than the US built models. Exactly what those differences are, I can't say for sure. I only know that the sensors that are called for are not the same as for the US made motors. And I also don't get how the US motors call for different sensors for upstream and downstream, while this Canadian made motor calls for all 4 sensors being the same part! How\Why is this the case, I'll never understand why... All I know is my truck won't pass SMOG testing as the O2 Heater readiness test won't complete noatter how many drive cycles I perform.

Can someone tell me where to find these fuses? I think I'm too close to the issue with this damned O2 heater readiness test not running... I can't even find the fuse(s) for them

Thank you in advance,

Mark D.

I would suggest signing up to the full-service manual for your truck, at a site like alldatadiy.com or Do it Yourself Automobile Repair Manuals - Mitchell 1 DIY. It will have the wiring diagrams, to show you exactly which fuse each side of the O2 sensors go through (as the sensor and the heater are separate circuits), as well as what conditions are necessary for the O2 heater readiness test to complete.

And I would expect some kind of code to be generated if the o2 sensors heater fuse has blown...

And this is a free site. You asked this question less than an hour ago.

If you want an immediate answer from a someone who knows the answer to your questions, you need to find some kind of paid online service, and they will be happy to do that. Or see your local mechanic.

O2 sensors generate millivolts no need for a fuse for them. If you are not getting the readiness it is because they are not getting the right signal. Commen thing is to look at the signal for each one and find the sensor that is giving the wrong signa and replacing that one sensor That is bad. You could most likely replace all 4 sensors if you don’t have the ability to read them.

Well, thank you for responding... But telling me Fuse #31 and #32 does me no good! There's not any numbers for fuse locations in my fuse panel(s)! Obviously I have searched for the fuse(s), reading the description abbreviation(s) for every fuse in my 7nderhood fuse panel as well as the panel inside the driver's door.
Can you be more specific as to the location you believe is the location of the oxygen sensor fuse(s)?

Thank you in advance,
