Ok so I have a 2017 Silverado 1500 LT with 18 inch wheels with the oem tire size. Will post size at bottom. 4wd of course.

Friend in Michigan has 2007 Silverado WT 2wd with 17inch wheels . She and her backyard mechanic friends think my rims and tires will fit her truck.

Question is, will they fit on her truck with no interference or rubbing of any kind?

I say no. But I could be wrong. Im thinking bolt pattern is wrong, would rub on her control arms.

Six lug bolt pattern has been the same since at least GMT800s, probably even GMT400s but don’t quote me on that. So, no, bolt pattern isn’t an issue.

What size tires does the WT have? If the overall diameter is close to same, there should be no issues with fitment from that POV either.

Howabout rubbing against the upper control arms/suspension? Backspace?

And thank you for telling me about the bolt pattern. I didn't know bud.

And her original size tire is a 265/70R17.

Those two tires sizes are almost identical in overall size.
The only difference is the wheel diameter.

So, should be no issue in fitment.

Overall diameter is within 1mm, so that doesn’t matter either. Highly doubt any other specs will be an issue either.

People have been mixing and matching different stock wheels on these for 25+ years.

However, the HD's changed bolt pattern when the new chassis was introduced in 2011.

Body exterior and interior only got cosmetic changes for 2011.
Underneath new frame, front suspension, much bigger brakes all around and larger fuel tanks.
Diesel was changed to LML, which brought the exhaust brake and the use of DEF.

They'll bolt right up without issue. The GMT900s also used that tire size. The offset of the wheel differs by only 5 millimeters, no big deal.
