I've followed this awesome write up but it seems it only applies to 2003+ trucks.
How To: Using the MBEC for Powered Accessories
This did not apply to my 2001. So I pulled out the multi meter and tested all of the SEO pins and this is what I've come up with. I did not test which was hot during crank as I didn't have a way of doing this. I know the wiring lines up with another site I found but can't seem to find the link now.
1 = Ground (large black wire)
2 = Hot in Run (small yellow wire)
3 = Empty
4 = Hot in Run (small pink wire)
5 = Always Hot (large orange wire)
6 = Always Hot (small orange wire)

My plan is to remove one of the power ports and install this. It works better than any phone charger I've used. It charges a phone quick!

Hope this helps someone with a pre-2003 truck. I couldn't find a link anywhere for the pre-2003 MBEC pinouts.
