Extended Cab Rear Window Won't Shut? 1999 Silverado

My rear window on the driver's side of my 99 extended cab will not close all the way. You can tell from the outside that it is sitting out a little bit and the wind noise that comes inside the cab is extremely loud. Has anyone found a fix for this? I took part of the latching mechanism from a pick n pull but I have yet to test it out yet.

You might try removing inner door panel and try tightening the screws that hold the window in. I`ve had to do this on mine when i was trying to fix wind noise.
I most likely won't be able to do that because I have the three door and the driver's side is near impossible to get the panel off, not really but it is a full day job, almost would rather just go back to the deck screw.... I ended up buying this https://www.ebay.com/itm/282024612006 I've heard a lot of great things about it so I am going to put it in and hopefully get some good results.

This picture is from one of my other trucks, but is the best picture I could find showing one of the window screws.
The window latch will hold the window tighter to the window frame, but won't help if screws holding the window frame to the body / door are loose.
Ahhhh thank you for the photo was wondering which screws you were talking about exactly. Yeah those are impossible on the three door driver's side. Would take a whole day to take apart the damn thing.
