My truck has a RC 2" level on it. Until recently, I also had a zone add-a-leaf on the rear. The add-a-leaf was causing the suspension to pop or clunk while going over bumps, so I recently removed them. I hate the way my truck squats now when I hook up my camper. So I splurged and bought Airlift 5000 airbags from my truck, they should be arriving this Tuesday from Fedex.
From the reviews I have read, they require I maintain 5 psi in them while unloaded, which raises the rear about an inch, which I am fine with. However, I got to thinking... Is there any issue with removing the Stock 1.25" rear block, and using the airbags to make up the difference? This would give me the option to ride 100% level front to back, and if I want, I could let out all the air to get the bed a little lower to load/unload.
What are your thoughts?
