The previous owner removed the floor mounted bolts that secure the jack bracket on the truck I purchased. Is it possible/easy to replace the floor mounting bolts? Picture shows the bolts that are missing.

Is this the part number GM Stow Jack Bolts Pack of 5 New OEM M6 X 1.00 X 25mm 25614723?

No idea how they are installed, nor what bolts they are. I have never seen this problem arise. They could be swaged, spot welded, press fit, etc.

My suggestion would be to find another truck have a look, (a dealer should still have inventory,) and take a set of metric thread gauges with you.

Not many of us here have 2024s, nor are we willing to remove our jacks and carpeting. It's a PITA.

2024 Silverado 1500… I bought the truck a few months back and just noticed the jack and the jack bracket are not connected and the mounting bolts are missing. My only thought is maybe the previous owner had put an aftermarket storage system under the seat and the bolts were in the way… Then removed the storage system before trading it in? Don’t really know why.

I will pull back the carpet to see if they were cut… hopefully not.

Peel back the felt and look at the top, and then crawl under the truck and look at the same spot. I expect they are welded to the cab and they may not be directly accessible from underneath (there may be a brace/support preventing direct access).

My thoughts are they are pressed in place from the underside and will not be easy to remove and replace without some damage. This is how they were put in when I worked as a body/collision tech. over 10 uears ago. Things may have changed but I looked at some pics of the bolts and they look like press in type.
